Lindsay Peterson is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, living in Aberdeen, South Dakota and MDHC's Medical Director.
She started her journey through healthcare at the age of 14, working at her hometown nursing home, then transitioned to hospital care throughout college. In 2011, she graduated from Presentation College with an Associates Degree in Nursing and started at the local hospital, working on the medical and surgical floors. In September 2014, she took a leap of faith and started back in school for her Bachelors of Science in Nursing, through South Dakota State University, graduating in 2016. In February 2020, Lindsay graduated from Walden University with a Masters of Science in Nursing, as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She has worked as a registered nurse in many health care arenas, from inpatient hospital stays and outpatient services (pre/post-operative, PACU, infusions) to oncology.
Lindsay is a South Dakota native, growing up just South of Aberdeen. While attending college, she met her husband John Peterson, who is the Vice President at Ag Plus. They are blessed with two little boys, Dominic and Kru. Lindsay loves to spend time outside with her family, traveling, paddle boarding, and reading. Additionally, she proudly served in the South Dakota Army National Guard for 8 years.
Lindsay is looking forward to working at MDHC to provide care to individuals and families, tailored to their needs.
