Cacey Schmidt, CNP

Cacey has been working in health care more than half of her life. Starting as a teenager she was a nurse's aid in her hometown's nursing home. Cacey soon realized her passion for caring for others was going to be a lifelong commitment and an integral part of who she is.  

Cacey graduated with her bachelors in nursing from SDSU and after watching her sister work towards her Nurse Practitioner degree she decided it was a move she wanted to make as well. Cacey graduated from Mount Marty University with her MSN as a family nurse practitioner in 2021.

Since graduating and becoming a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner Cacey has been caring for patient in their homes in the Sioux City area and has decided to bring her services to Modern Day Health Care and serve her local community.  Cacey says, "I have been providing home and nursing facility visits for the patients I served and have loved being able to meet patient’s where they are most comfortable, being able to taking time to get to know them and their medical needs, and providing individualistic care to each person". 

Cacey has been married to her high school sweet heart since 2013 and has two beautiful daughters ages 5 and almost 7. Cacey's girls are her greatest joy!
