Angie specializes in family medicine, treating all members of the family from newborn to geriatric patients. She has a special interest in pediatrics and mental health. She will get to know you and your family and treats a variety of illnesses and injuries. Angie focuses on preventing, diagnosing, and treating common conditions in patients through all life stages. She provides other services including obtaining a patient’s medical history, ordering and interpreting lab and diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing health education and counseling.
Angie is licensed to practice in South Dakota and Minnesota and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She obtained her BSN at South Dakota State University in 2002 and her Masters Degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of North Dakota in 2014. In addition to working part-time for Modern Day Health Care she works full-time in a primary care clinic in rural South Dakota. She serves as a faculty member at the USD Sanford School of Medicine.
