Michelle McCormick has over 22 years of experience as a physical therapist in a broad range of areas including outpatient orthopedics, post-surgical care, vertigo, geriatrics, home health and sports medicine. She was also contracted to work with the United States Navy, treating injured marines and sailors. During her time at Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, she was awarded Senior Contractor of the year.
Michelle has taken over 400 hours of post graduate education to further her expertise in the care of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
She is certified in Functional Dry Needling and Functional Movement Systems, as well as being one of the few therapists in South Dakota to be trained in Craniosacral Therapy. She specializes in the treatment of headaches, myofascial pain and orthopedic injuries.
In addition to her clinical skill, Michelle feels one of her greatest strengths is the compassion and creativity she uses to treat her patients in a one-on-one setting.
Michelle and her family live in Watertown, SD. She enjoys waterskiing, snow shoeing, ice skating, gardening, playing piano and most important of all, spending time with her family.
